Well. Hello there.
I can’t believe it’s been as long as it has. So many of you I keep up with on Instagram. And I obviously fell victim to the ease of the Instagram version of my blog. Just a handful of quick recaps as to what’s been happening since Spring.(March?!? Eeek.)
Our Spring Break adventure was a test to see how many people could fit into one small hotel room. I’m here to tell you, it’s 6. Any more people and the room would have literally exploded. The girlies wen to their first REDS game. Babe promised he’d take me back with no kids and more baseball beer. I’m still holding out for that!
Middle-man turned one whole hand old. It’s hard to believe, but it’s always hard to believe when they get older I think. With him in particular though, I feel like this year was big for him. It’s taken him quite some time to find his place in this litter. He was instantly the middle-man when we brought the girls home and I’ve felt like since then, he’s struggled to figure out where he fit. He is the greatest of greats when he’s home with his girlies. He has become more willing to let you in on his love. He doesn’t whine as much. He gets his feelings hurt and he tells you. He has a good time and he tells you. He’s become his own person with his own set of drums. He is dreamy. And difficult. And we wouldn’t want it any other way.
I started a new business. I’d love to blame the non-blogging on it but if I’m being honest, I wasn’t blogging long before it fell perfectly into my lap. I’ve figured out that busy people will be busy. No matter what is going on. I am a busy person. No matter what is going on. I love my new job and I can’t wait to tell you about it. Some of you likely already know from other social media outlets.
The school year ended and I celebrated with a weekend in the Big Apple with my sister. It was dreamy amounts of drinks, rest, and shopping. A delightfully perfect way to start the summer in my opinion!
Our family vaca has come and gone. We stayed at a beautiful home in St. Simon Island. We spent a lot of the trip worried about a sick little person but I feel like that’s just par for the course with as many little people as we have. It was a wonderful trip. I loved everything about it. Except for those stupid southern GIANT bugs that come out and ruin your patio party at night. Man I hate those things. Ick.
Now it’s July (HOW?!?) and so much change lies in our future. I know I’m going to want to use this space as a resource, an outlet, a vent zone as we navigate through it. My life is beautiful. And I am blessed.
