At the encouragement of some of my other favorite blogging buddies we’ve been collaborating on something else to do… something to keep us moving and something to keep us giving. This week, it finally came to me!
Introducing… Adopt A Pantry!
It’s simple… for each day between September 1 and November 17 that you exercise you will donate one perishable item to your local food pantry. There are 78 days from start to finish… that could be a lot of cans we dish out!
I will keep track of our days and hopefully provide some motivation to keep us all moving. Moving together to help fill our local food bank shelves. There is a button to promote your giving to your readers — and maybe even encourage them to play along. You certainly don’t need a blog to exercise, or a blog to donate perishable items to your local food bank!

We start keeping track tomorrow so get ready! Set a goal for yourself, get the family involved, tell everyone about it!
Our team goal will be to get 20 people to participate and to donate 1000 cans total. Yep, I know it’s a lot but I know us… we can do it!
